John Patti joined the Excel Hydraulics, LLC team in May 2005 as the Parts/Purchasing Manager, establishing the company’s first organized parts department. In 2011, after six years of successful program development and department structuring, John took on the task of pioneering Excel Hydraulics’Health & Safety program. His formal education, public speaking abilities and industrial work experience made him the perfect fit for this assignment.
John holds a B.A. in Health Education from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, credentials as an OSHA authorized trainer for Construction and General Industry and certifications in CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
The demand for increased focus on and more detailed safety programming necessitated John’s transition in the spring of 2016 from his parts manager duties to a full time focus on safety. In his current role as the company Health & Safety Manager, John works with third party auditors to verify that our programs meet OSHA standards, serves as chairman of the company safety committee, leads annual OSHA compliance training, conducts new hire orientations, and tirelessly creates new multimedia presentations, as well as tracking and investigating incidents to help ward off future injuries and capital losses.
