Safety & Standards

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Excel Hydraulics LLC’s Occupational Health & Safety Program. It is our top priority to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and (we hate to think about) possible deaths. Healthy and accident-free conditions don’t just happen. They are the direct result of diligent work and careful attention to our established safety guidelines and policies.

At Excel Hydraulics LLC, we are committed to training and educating each employee in safe work practices that promote “Safety First.”  Excel technicians are trained to carry these same safety practices with them when performing their duties at a customer’s work place.  Our growing group of skilled technicians take part in OSHA compliance training each calendar year. These exercises include more than 40 training disciplines, all based on standards published in OSHA 29 CFR 1910, “General Industry” and 29 CFR 1926, “Construction” regulations.

In addition to classroom training, our program includes:

  • Safety Audits
  • Safety Committees
  • Near Miss Reporting
  • Accident Investigation
  • Safety Prizes
  • Background Checks
  • Drug/Alcohol screening

John Patti – Safety Manager

We are proud to be a member, in good standing, of the ISNetworld contractor management system. Our proactive approach to safety programming has undoubtedly warded off many potential incidents over the years. As Excel Hydraulics LLC’s Safety Manager, I hold a B.A. in Health Education from Rowan University, and am an authorized OSHA 10 and 30-hour trainer for construction as well as general industry.

My goal is to get everyone thinking safety, 24/7/365.

Know that when you work alongside Excel Hydraulics LLC employees, you are laboring beside safety conscious, highly-trained craftsmen who will  put “Safety First” as a high priority.
